Los Angeles wedding photography and films

VowDeLune is a wedding photography and film team. We shoot both, cut them together, and hand you back the feeling of the day.

Two cameras, one team, one plan. We shoot your photos and your film side by side, grade them by the same hand, and give the day back to you in days, not months.

A couple photographed and filmed by one VowDeLune team

Photo and film, one team

Two crafts that should never be split

Most couples hire a photographer and a videographer who have never met. On the day they end up in each other's shots, competing for the same angle during the vows, and you get back two versions of your wedding that look like two different days.

01

One plan, not two

We block the ceremony, the first look and the toasts together before anyone lifts a camera. Nobody blocks anybody, because everybody already knows the shot.

02

One look

Photos and film are graded to match. Your gallery and your film feel like the same wedding because the same hands made both.

03

One team to call

Booking both with us costs less than hiring two studios, and there is one person to reach when the timeline changes at 9pm the night before.

Photo and film, one team

Most couples hire two vendors and get back two versions of their wedding that look like two different days. Here is the same day from both of our cameras. Press play and compare it to the frames beside it.

How we film weddings

Real highlight cuts from real weddings, sound and all. These run 5 to 15 minutes in full and land about two weeks after the day.

Cameron & Jennifer

Full-sun ceremony by the water, a gold brocade jacket, and a microphone moment in front of the guests.

Narbeh & Diana

A sun-hard terrace ceremony, a kiss taken under the veil, and a crowd that would not sit still.

A Yosemite Wedding

Brown suits, a long veil against Yosemite granite, and a first dance under magenta light after dark.

How it works

01

Check the date

Send the date and the city. We reply personally, usually inside a day, and tell you straight away whether we are free. No drip sequence, no sales call you did not ask for.

02

Hold it

A signed agreement and a deposit lock the date in. Nothing else is due until closer to the day, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

03

Plan it

We walk the timeline with you, learn the traditions that matter to your families, and scout the venue so we are not working it out on the morning.

04

Shoot it

We arrive early, learn the room, and stay out of the way. Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot we were there. That is the whole job.

05

Get it back

Photos in as little as two days. Your film within two weeks. Then it is yours to press play on for the rest of your life.

Wedding photography and film in Los Angeles

The day moves faster than anyone warns you

A wedding day is over before you have finished feeling it. The first look. Your father's face when the doors open. The friend who cries harder than either of you. The quiet second in a hallway when it is just the two of you and the noise of the party is a wall away. The last song, shoes already off, nobody left but the people who matter. Those minutes do not come back, and no amount of planning slows them down. Across four years and more than 800 weddings, we have built VowDeLune around one job: holding the parts of your day you will be too happy to remember in the moment, so you get to live them now and keep them for good.

One team, one pair of eyes

Most couples end up with a photographer and a videographer who meet for the first time at the aisle and spend the ceremony fighting over the same three feet of floor. One blocks the other's shot. Both step into your view. That is not how we work. Every VowDeLune package pairs a photographer and a filmmaker who plan the day together and move as one, so the still frame and the rolling frame become the same held breath seen twice. The photograph gives you the look on his face. The film gives you the sound of your name in the vows. As a wedding photographer in Los Angeles who also keeps a film camera running beside you, we make sure no one misses your first kiss because they were guarding a tripod.

You won't wait a season to see it

Most studios return a finished wedding two or three months later, long after the feeling has cooled. We move quicker, with first photos back in days and a highlight film in about two weeks, while the day still feels like yours. Los Angeles is home, and we travel for the couples who ask us to. Come look at the work, then tell us about the two of you and the day you are building.

Questions

Cannot find yours? Call or text and a person will answer.

Nationally, most couples spend between $3,000 and $12,000 for photography and film together, and the number moves with coverage hours, team size, and travel. Our own collections start at $2,599, below that national floor, because booking both with one studio almost always costs less than hiring two vendors. Tell us your date and location and we will send real numbers, not a range.

Usually yes. When one team runs both, the photographers and cinematographers plan angles together instead of blocking each other during the vows, the first look, and the toasts. You also get one point of contact, one timeline, and a photo and film set that actually look like the same wedding because they were graded to match.

Most couples book 9 to 14 months out, and peak Saturdays in spring and fall go first. Peak Saturdays in spring and fall go first, so the sooner you ask the better. If your date is inside 6 months, still ask. Cancellations happen and we keep a short list.

Yes. Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and Texas are our home regions and travel inside them is included. Anywhere else in the country or abroad, we quote flights and lodging at cost with no markup. Most of what we shoot is in Los Angeles, and we travel for the rest.

Fast, which is the whole point. Edited photos come back in as little as 2 days on Signature Story and overnight on the Collection, and your highlight film within about 2 weeks. The industry norm is 8 to 10 weeks, and we think that is far too long to wait to see the best day of your life.

Our highlight films run 5 to 15 minutes depending on the collection, long enough to carry the story and short enough that people actually finish it. We also cut a short teaser for sharing, and full length ceremony and speech edits are available if you want every word kept.

Neither is a problem. We scout indoor and covered options ahead of time and we bring lighting for dark rooms. Timelines slip at almost every wedding, so we build margin into the plan and adjust quietly rather than rushing you.

Yes, gladly and often. We have filmed Persian, Indian, Vietnamese, Mexican and secular ceremonies, plus multi day celebrations. Tell us the traditions that matter to you and we will learn the order of events before we arrive so nothing important gets missed.
