The films

How we film weddings

Real highlight cuts from real weddings, sound and all. These run 5 to 15 minutes in full and land about two weeks after the day.

Cameron & Jennifer

Full-sun ceremony by the water, a gold brocade jacket, and a microphone moment in front of the guests.

Narbeh & Diana

A sun-hard terrace ceremony, a kiss taken under the veil, and a crowd that would not sit still.

A Yosemite Wedding

Brown suits, a long veil against Yosemite granite, and a first dance under magenta light after dark.

The films

Film length, ceremony coverage and crew size change between the three collections. Everything else is the same standard whichever one you book.

01

A highlight film, 5 to 15 minutes

Essential Combo is a 5 minute story driven highlight movie, delivered in 2 weeks. Signature Story runs to 15 minutes. Cut to music, built around what actually happened rather than a shot list.

02

The full ceremony, kept whole

Signature Story and the Collection include a full ceremony edit. The vows, the readings and the parts your families travelled for stay in, instead of being trimmed down to a montage.

03

A wedding documentary

The Collection includes a full wedding video documentary, cut from a whole day of coverage with two videographers on the floor and a photographer working alongside them.

04

A private screening

The Collection includes a private movie viewing for 15 to 20 of your guests. Your wedding, on a screen, in a room full of the people who lived it.

05

Graded by a person

Every second is color graded by hand, matched to your photos so the film and the gallery read as one wedding. No presets, nothing generated.

06

A photographer, always

Every collection sends a photographer with the videographer, and 400 to 2,000+ hand edited images land in the same private gallery. One team, one plan, one invoice.

Drone photo and video is $300 on any collection, and a second videographer is $800. Want the photo side in detail? Read how the photography works.

Coverage

We are based in Valencia, California. Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Texas are home regions and travel inside them is included in the price. Anywhere else in the country or abroad, we quote flights and lodging at cost with no markup. Roughly half of what we film each year is away from home, so a wedding outside these cities is normal rather than an exception.

In your hands

No mystery deliverables and no vague packages. This is the real list.

The gallery

400 to 2000+ high resolution images depending on the collection, every one hand edited, in a private online gallery with a shareable link.

The film

A 5 to 15 minute story driven highlight, cut to music and graded by hand. Full ceremony edits and a full wedding documentary on the larger collections.

Wedding ring detail, the kind of frame printed in the album

The album

A premium printed wedding album, included on the Collection or added to any package for $400. The thing your grandchildren will actually hold.

A pre wedding portrait, printed as a 30 by 40 canvas

The canvas

A 30x40 portrait from your pre event shoot, printed and hanging on your wall before the wedding has even happened. Included on Signature Story and the Collection, or added to any package for $80.

A wedding film still, shown at a private screening

The screening

On the Collection, a private movie viewing for 15 to 20 people. Your wedding, on a screen, in a room full of the people who lived it.

Speed

The industry standard for wedding photos is eight to ten weeks, and for films it is often longer. We think that is far too long to wait to see the best day of your life.

How it works

01

Check the date

Send the date and the city. We reply personally, usually inside a day, and tell you straight away whether we are free. No drip sequence, no sales call you did not ask for.

02

Hold it

A signed agreement and a deposit lock the date in. Nothing else is due until closer to the day, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

03

Plan it

We walk the timeline with you, learn the traditions that matter to your families, and scout the venue so we are not working it out on the morning.

04

Shoot it

We arrive early, learn the room, and stay out of the way. Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot we were there. That is the whole job.

05

Get it back

Photos in as little as two days. Your film within two weeks. Then it is yours to press play on for the rest of your life.

Three collections, from $2,599 to $7,699. Every one of them includes a videographer and a photographer, and every one of them can be adjusted before you sign.

Los Angeles wedding films

The film is what survives the footage

A camera can record everything and still say nothing. Raw footage is a long afternoon of the people you love, most of it dead air and second takes. A wedding film is what a person builds after that footage exists, sitting in a dark room, hunting for the three seconds where your dad's voice cracks and choosing to hold on them. For a wedding videographer in Los Angeles, that edit is the actual job. It is pacing that lets one quiet look breathe and drops the rest on the floor. It is a score chosen so its swell lands on the exact frame your partner turns and sees you. It is color graded by hand, shot by shot, on cinema glass that renders skin the way your eye remembers it instead of the way a phone flattens it. Anyone can hand you a card of clips. The film is the decision about what to keep.

Why the film side needs the photographer beside it

On most weddings the photographer and the videographer meet for the first time in your getting-ready room, two strangers with different cards and the same eight minutes of morning light. Booked separately, that hour becomes a quiet negotiation. One wants the window for a portrait, the other needs a clean wide for the first look, and someone loses the shot. We run as a single crew for a plain mechanical reason: a filmmaker who already knows where the photographer will plant their feet can build a moving shot around that spot instead of elbowing for it. At the aisle, where both cameras collapse onto the same ten feet of floor, that agreement is the whole game. Nobody steps into the frame that matters, because we settled it in the car on the way over.

What you get back, in three shapes

A wedding can be finished in three shapes, and which of them you get depends on the collection you book, so it is worth knowing the difference before you choose. The highlight film comes with every collection and runs five to fifteen minutes, the cut you will actually rewatch and send to the people who could not make it, built to move. The full ceremony edit, which comes with Signature Story, is kept whole and untrimmed, every vow and reading and the walk back out, unhurried, because one year on you will want the entire thing and not a trailer of it. The documentary, which sits on the VowDeLune Collection, follows the day closer to how it truly ran, the toasts at their real length, the speech nobody warned you would land the way it did. If you want the ceremony kept in full, say so before we quote, because it changes how we mic and cover the room.

Questions

Cannot find yours? Call or text and a person will answer.

Our highlight films run between 5 and 15 minutes, and where yours lands depends on the collection and how much happened worth keeping. A tight courthouse day might sit around 5 to 7 minutes; a full celebration with long toasts and a big party runs longer. We cut for pacing, not padding, so it's the length the day earns.

The highlight film is the main piece, a scored 5 to 15 minute story of the day. Depending on your collection we also deliver longer-form edits: a full ceremony cut from vows to the kiss, and documentary-style edits of the toasts and speeches in full. If you specifically want the whole ceremony and every speech start to finish, tell us up front so we mic and cover for it.

The full highlight film is typically back in about two weeks. If you want something to share sooner than that, ask us when you book and we will tell you what we can turn around. Photos come even faster, in as little as two days, since the same team handles both.

Yes, drone coverage is available where it makes sense and where it's legal to fly. Some venues and city airspace restrict it, so we check the location ahead of time rather than promise aerials we can't legally get. When it fits, it's great for establishing the venue and landscape; when it doesn't, the film doesn't miss it.

Clean audio is most of what makes a wedding film feel real, so we don't rely on the camera mic. We use lav mics on the officiant and often a groom or partner, plus feeds from the DJ or venue sound system for toasts, and dedicated recorders as backup. That's how your actual vows and the words in the speeches end up clear in the film instead of buried under room noise.

Every film is graded by hand to match the look and mood of the day, not run through a one-size filter. Music comes from properly licensed sources so your film is safe to post and share without takedowns, and we're happy to work in a song that matters to you where licensing allows. We deliver the finished edits rather than raw footage as standard; if you want the raw clips, ask and we'll tell you what's possible for your collection.
