The day
Everything here happened under blush drape and white florals: the vows, the rings, the toasts, the dancing. She got ready in a chair with a hand mirror and a makeup artist working close. He wore an off-white suit, she wore lace with a low back. Two boys in grey and blue suits stood up front with them. Sparklers went off behind the first dance, and the room turned magenta and violet once the DJ lights came up.
How it was shot
A room draped in white and blush, with an off-white suit inside it, is a white balance problem before it is anything else. The drape throws pink onto every face, and by the reception the DJ adds magenta and cyan on top. I exposed to keep detail in the lace and the jacket, then pulled the casts off skin by hand while letting the room keep its real color. For the dancing I dragged the shutter so the uplighting stayed in frame instead of getting flattened by flash.
