The day
Full sun, no clouds, a paved terrace ringed by hedge and white umbrellas. Narbeh and Diana walked in holding hands through a garden arch and married in front of a small seated crowd in cane chairs. The rest of the film stays close: guests clapping them back down the aisle, a kiss taken under the veil against a white wall with red blooms behind it, drinks in hand after, the light still hard and high.
How it was shot
Midday sun on pale concrete is the hard version of an easy-looking day. Contrast runs enormous between a black tux and white lace, so we protected the gown and lifted the shadows in the grade rather than the other way around. That white wall did the work on the veil shot, bouncing enough fill to keep both faces open under two layers of tulle. Ceremony and party sat in the same small footprint, which means angle changes come from lens choice, not from walking.
